ACPI goes to HK Filmart

The Animation Council of the Philippines, Inc. (ACPI) and the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), under the headship of the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM), are participating in the 13^th Hong Kong Filmart slated to run from March 23-26 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre in Wanchai, Hong Kong Island.

Organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, HK Filmart aims to promote Hong Kong as the regional hub for distribution and production of film, TV programs and entertainment-related products in Asia pacific, and to promote cross-media, cross-businesses partnerships.

There are several major exhibition categories. Among which include distribution, production and acquisition of film, TV programs, animation, digital entertainment/ games, digital effects and music, cinema operation, video and disc production, distribution and rental, radio broadcasting, internet broadcasting, production and post-production services, and other entertainment-related professional services.

This year, ACPI and FDCP are going there as one team under the Philippine pavilion through the support of CITEM. The ACPI delegation is composed of the following companies: Top Peg Animation and Creative Studio, Glow Animation, Tuko Films Productions, Cutting Edge Productions, Holy Cow Animation, Evershine Animation Studio, Miracle Animation Studio, Cadweb Business Solutions, Seven Toons, and the Creative Media and Film Society of the Philippines (Cream). On the other hand, MLR Films and Regal Films form part the FDCP delegation.
